The Paris prosecutor’s office confirmed the arrests on Saturday evening, adding that one of the suspects had been preparing to flee France from Roissy airport. Le Parisien earlier reported two men were arrested and said the other person was located north of Paris.  
  
A manhunt was launched a week ago after four people broke into the Louvre in broad daylight and stole eight pieces of jewelry, including royal necklaces, tiaras and earrings. The heist took just seven minutes.

Do they think that each man working that job for decades sat in the office and the criminals all said "Fellas, we can't hit the Louvre a man's in charge!?!"

If these women were actually diversity hires, the part that pisses me off is that this will make things ten times harder for any truly qualified women. I’ve seen this play out in real life. We have a female mechanic who we all knew was incompetent. She was eventually fired for attendance, something that was black and white in the union contract. During the termination process she tried to hit everyone she could with sexual harassment charges. But non of the mechanics was willing to help the next one because the first female mechanic or even socialize with her because of our experience with her predecessor. And she was actually a good mechanic.

They used to have cool protections for these works of art.     Nearly "unbreakable" glass and displays that whisked the jewels down into a protected vault in the base of the display if anyone jostled the glass.      ~~They were supposedly replaced with regular glass and display cases under the orders of the two happy idiots featured above.~~   Edit:   looks like they replaced them in 2019.   Still, If I took a job as security chief for billions of dollars of art    I probably would have questioned the downgrade.   Looks like they should talk to Jean-Luc Martinez (previous director).
